Jacob Butler founded Hunter Gather in Brisbane in 2020 to put someone equally committed on the other side of the table: a buyers agency that works for the buyer alone, is paid by nobody but the buyer it represents, and hunts until the right home is secured at the right price.

Our founder came from sales as well as buyer representation, so we know how a listing is priced, marketed and negotiated from the inside. That is the view we bring to every purchase, and it is what wins in a competitive market.

The results come from trust-based relationships with selling agents and from negotiating well. Whether a home is quietly held off market, moving through private networks or sitting in plain sight, we get you in front of it. We take the whole search off your hands. Brief, search, inspections, shortlist, valuation, negotiation and settlement. You keep your weekends.

You have found the property. We tell you what it is worth, what the risks are, and then negotiate the price on your behalf.

We set the strategy with you beforehand and bid on the day, so you are not making a six-figure decision on the footpath under pressure.
